My Story

The Anna Fiorentini Performing Arts School celebrates its 21st Anniversary this year, a landmark achievement which the pandemic nearly put a stop to! To help celebrate and raise much needed funds, I am taking part in a Lip Sync Challenge at the anniversary extravaganza event at the Hackney Empire on Saturday 19th March 2022.

Money raised by taking part in this Lip Sync Challenge will be ring fenced specifically to fund invaluable bursaries for children who have been diagnosed with or are affected by cancer that wish to attend stage school for much needed fun and respite. Before the pendemic hit, the school supported 12 children in this position and wish to continue with this support.

I have been friends with Anna for many years now. The dedication that she, and the rest of the team, have to enhancing the lives of all of the children who attend the school is amazing. The school operates as a charity and does a brilliant job, not only teaching creative skills, but helping countless children and young adults to build their confidence and self esteem, attributes which are sadly lacking for many young people.

Being an actor and having a young daughter myself, I completely appreciate the value  the arts can bring to the lives of young and old.

Hopefully it will also improve my dancing skills but with two left feet and no sense of direction....what could possibly go wrong!!

Thank you so much for your support. The money you donate will make a tangible difference to these children.
