My Story

This weekend Simone & I will be taking part in the Easter 50 Challenge in Windsor. This is a 50km walk through Windosr Great Park, on to Runnymede, and along the Thames Path.  Why you may ask? To raise money for The Fiorentini Foundation, a charity which needs funds to continue  it's great efforts to break down the barrier of privilege, and bring make the Performing Arts accessible to all children, regardless of background. The pandemic has had a devastating impact on many young people, and with the crisis widening the attainment gap, the provisions the Foundation provide have become even more essential. The money you raise will make a tangible difference through initiatives like their Bursary & Scholarshiop Scheme, which provides free places and / or funds to cover associated costs, to studernts attending courses at their associated Stage Schools.

Their first not-for-profit school opened in Hackney in 2001 as a Prince's Trust Business. Since then they have gone on to open other Theatre & Film School branches in Camden, Docklands and Greenwich. These schools give students between the ages of 7 - 18 years old access to professional performing arts training & courses, and it helps them to develop important life skills including teamwork, self-expression, communication and confidence. In the current economic climate, the opportunities and support provided by The Fiorentini Foundation are needed more than ever. Any amount you are able to donate, will be and is very much apperciated. Thank you. Oscar & Simone
