My Story

I am doing the Hackney Half Marathon this year in support and in aid of Anna Fiorentini School of Performing Arts. The charity arm of the school helps young people to explore the arts in a safe and supportive environment. And I was hoping you could sponsor me to support this marvelous cause!

The main goal of The Fiorentin Foundation is to enable and encourage less privileged, socially excluded and underserved children to access professional training in arts and drama - and developing crucial skills, instilling them with a sense of discipline, routine and providing employment pathways into the industry and the advancement of mainstream education. Many of the beneficiaries from the Foundation are from ethnic minorities, suffer from disabilites or have chaotic home lives. Thanks to the school's agencey, numerous students have been able to secure leading roles in the West End (Oliver! Matilda, Bugsy Malone, and Lion King), and on TV ( Contracts in Eastenders, Rev, The Revolving World of Stanley Brown, and Top Boy).

And as the School celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, the Foundation needs your support more than ever before. It needs vital funds to break the barrier of privilege and bring arts to all children regardless of their backgrounds. The pandemic has had a devastating impact on many young people and with the crisis widening the attainment gap, provisions such as the ones offered by the school have become so critical.

I love running and what a way of channelling my energy to a great charity cause using a sport I truly live for. I have started training for the event which is on 26th September - and  I hope to be fit and ready come the big day.

Thank you for visiting this page and thank you in advace for your kind sponsorship.
