As we celebrate over twenty years since opening our School, we need your support now more than ever. Our 21st Anniversary Campaign aims to raise money for bursaries and to continue vital work for the local community.

The Fiorentini Foundation is the charitable arm of the Anna Fiorentini Theatre and Film School. It needs funds to break down the barrier of privilege and bring the arts to all children regardless of their background. The pandemic has had a devastating impact on many young people and with the crisis widening the attainment gap, provisions like ours have become essential. Money raised will make a tangible difference through initiatives like our Bursary Scheme which provides free places at our schools to students who may not be able to afford it or to students with and/or affected by cancer or other long term health issues. Donations will also go towards our upcoming Youth Community Theatre for 17 - 24 year olds in partnership with the Tower Theatre.

The Anna Fiorentini Performing Arts School survived the pandemic thanks to large grants from The Arts Council and the Coronavirus Support Fund (distributed by The National Lottery), support from the Coral Samuel Trust and South Hackney Parochial Charities, as well as donations from individuals and small firms like Web-Labs. But we still have a long way to go! Student levels are low due to Covid-19 restrictions and the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan will need to be paid back. We need your help to continue to support children and young people for the next 21 years!

Profits raised through our 21st Anniversary Showcase at the Hackney Empire on 19th March 2022 will go towards the 21st Anniversary Campaign. We also have a variety of sponsorship packages available as well as some advertising opportunities for this event. If you're interested in sponsoring the event, get in touch at [email protected]
